Our Story
The Hearts & Paws Foundation was proudly created and developed by The Pet Village Ltd as part of our commitment to giving back to the communities that have supported us throughout our journey.
What began as a passion for animal care through our pet store, grooming services, veterinary partnerships, cat hotel, and pet bakery has evolved into a greater mission — creating meaningful change for both animals and people in need throughout Trinidad & Tobago.
Hearts & Paws Foundation represents the charitable and community outreach division of The Pet Village Ltd, built on the belief that businesses should not only serve customers, but also uplift communities through compassion, kindness, and social responsibility.
Through charitable initiatives, donation drives, partnerships, awareness campaigns, and community events, the foundation supports:
- - Animal shelters and rescue organizations
- - Children’s homes and youth initiatives
- - Underprivileged families and community support programs
Over the years, The Pet Village Ltd has continuously looked for ways to integrate purpose into its business model. This led to the creation of Hearts & Paws Foundation and the Hearts & Paws Pet Bakery, where a portion of proceeds contributes directly toward charitable efforts and outreach programs.
To date, the foundation has successfully hosted multiple major community events and initiatives, with plans to continue expanding its impact across Trinidad & Tobago.

The Hearts & Paws Pet Bakery was developed by The Pet Village Ltd as a way to combine passion, creativity, and community support into one initiative.
A portion of proceeds from bakery sales contributes directly toward the Hearts & Paws Foundation and its charitable initiatives, allowing customers to support meaningful causes through everyday purchases.
