To ensure a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience for every guest, please review our Cat Hotel policies before booking. These guidelines help us provide the highest level of care for all cats staying with us.

💳 Boarding & Payment

- Standard boarding is charged at TT$225 per day, per cat.

- Full payment for the booked stay is due on or before check-in unless otherwise approved in writing by management.

- Additional days, extended stays or delayed collection will be charged at the applicable daily rate then in effect.

- Additional charges may apply for medication, special feeding, grooming, transport, special cleaning, veterinary handling and emergency care.

📅 Booking & Deposits

Bookings are confirmed only after approval by management and payment of any required deposit.

Deposits for holidays, long weekends, or peak periods may be non-refundable or partially refundable. The Pet Village reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings if required records, payments, or intake information are incomplete.

🩺 Health & Vaccination Requirements

All cats must be in good health and fit for boarding.

Up-to-date vaccination records must be provided before check-in. Cats showing signs of contagious illness, parasites, fleas, ticks, mites, ringworm, injury, or severe stress may be refused admission for the safety of other guests.

🍽️ Feeding & Medication

Owners should provide clear feeding instructions and disclose any dietary requirements or sensitivities.

Whenever possible, owners are encouraged to provide their cat’s regular food to help reduce stress and digestive upset during their stay.

Medication can be administered when clear written instructions are provided and the medication is properly labelled. Additional care fees may apply where necessary.

🚑 Veterinary Care & Emergencies

If a cat becomes sick, injured, distressed, or requires medical attention during boarding, The Pet Village may seek veterinary care when necessary.

Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the owner first. However, if the owner cannot be reached promptly, appropriate decisions may be made in the best interest of the cat’s health and welfare.

Any veterinary treatment, medication, transport, or emergency handling costs remain the responsibility of the owner.

🐾 Behaviour & Handling

Owners must inform The Pet Village of any behavioural concerns, including biting, scratching, spraying, escape attempts, fearfulness, litter box issues, or handling difficulties.

The Pet Village reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or modify boarding arrangements if a cat presents a safety risk to itself, other cats, staff, or facility operations.

🧸 Personal Belongings

Owners may bring approved personal items such as bedding, blankets, toys, treats, or carriers to help their cat feel more comfortable.

All belongings should be clearly labelled. While reasonable care is taken, The Pet Village is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stained personal items.

⏰ Check-In, Check-Out & Late Collection

Check-in and collection must take place during approved operating hours unless prior arrangements have been made.

Cats will only be released to the owner or an authorized individual identified by the owner. Late collection may result in additional fees and overnight stays may incur another day of boarding charges.

❌ Cancellation Policy

Cancellations should be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled check-in date.

Deposits may be forfeited for late cancellations, no-shows, holiday bookings, or peak-season reservations. Refunds for early pick-up are not guaranteed and remain subject to management approval.

🏠 Uncollected Pets

If a cat is not collected within a reasonable timeframe and the owner cannot be contacted, The Pet Village may take appropriate steps necessary for the welfare of the cat and the protection of the business.

This may include continued boarding, transfer of care, veterinary assistance, or contact with relevant authorities. Any resulting costs remain the responsibility of the owner.

⚠️ Risk Acknowledgement & Liability

While every reasonable effort is made to provide a safe and comfortable environment, owners acknowledge that boarding animals may involve risks including stress, illness, injury, refusal to eat, escape attempts, or unexpected medical complications.

The Pet Village, its staff, and representatives shall not be held liable for illness, injury, loss, or death except in cases of proven gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

📸 Media Consent

Photos or videos of boarding guests may occasionally be used for customer updates, report cards, social media, or promotional content.

Owners may request that their cat’s images not be used for promotional purposes if preferred.
